I think the practice is very family friendly. I come here and my wife comes here and my son comes here, we’ve been coming here for many years. I find the care to be excellent.

My son was having a hard time sleeping, and as a result, we thought that there was some behavioral problems in class. He wasn’t paying attention as well, he was being a little disruptive, and the behavior was just generally not what we had normally known or experienced with him.

The Healthy Start was presented to us by Dr. Juarez as a remedy to some of that. My understanding of it is, it has to do with the palate and the bite of the child, and how that affects sleep pattern. The residual effects of sleep pattern or bad sleep pattern being, you’re not learning well in school, they’re not paying attention in class, and things like that. When we talked to Dr. Juarez, she was telling us that because of his overbite, he has a little bit of an overbite, and the overbite and the way the palate was forming could be causing him to not sleep as well.

The Healthy Start is really a corrective procedure which is really non invasive, I guess you could call it, because it’s really just putting in a bite guard in the mouth, and there’s one for daytime and one for nighttime. Phillip now wears those. The palate’s improved, the overbite has been reduced, he sleeps much better. Sleeps through the night, very rarely getting up, and his classroom behavior has improved, and his grades have gone up as a result of that.

We see it as a real boon and it didn’t require any braces or anything like that. Actually, my understanding is, it may be a preventative to braces. We’re all on top of that.

We were recommended by a patient that comes here all the time because we were looking for a new dentist practice. We came for the first time and we liked the location, the staff is fantastic, nice office environment and professional dentist. It keeps us coming back. Age related issues. The teeth had extra gaps there and all. It was really difficult to enjoy going out and having a big, juicy steak and all because of the gaps, especially in the lower teeth. I’d come in with new crowns. She as able to get the spacing proper to where I don’t have that issue anymore.

Also, I’ve done quite an extensive amount of crown work. In fact, I’ve done full crowns, top and bottom, over the last couple of years to help my bite and also help the stability and the maintenance of my teeth. The maintenance is so much easier because there’s not the trapping of the food that I had before. It just makes life a lot more enjoyable.

I think it’s the personality of the staff. Everybody is positive and upbeat. You don’t walk in and see somebody with a frown on their face. I’ve seen both Dr. Lent and Dr. Juarez before, and they’re happy, they’re confident in what they do so that translates into how I feel about what’s going to happen.

You walk in the door, and every girl up there says your name and hi, how are you? They have a really good bedside manner here. My teeth were pretty beat up, and crooked and what have you. I played a little too much sports. I ended up with some real hazardous looking teeth. They came in, and turned them right, and ground them off, and recapped them and then veneered them, and I get this. I had two pairs of braces in my life to try and straighten up everything in the first place. Some of the teeth were crooked, and they weren’t going to change no matter how much torque we put on them. They ended up grinding those down, and bringing everything to a point, and then going ahead and capping those teeth. They did a beautiful job. I’ve never had any problems, not one day’s worth of problems with any of it.

Number one, every single employee is so professional. They have practiced and they’ve gone to all the latest schoolings, and it definitely shows in their professionalism. She makes you feel like you are number one, and she’s painless. Who wants to go to a dentist that hurts them, you know? She does not hurt, so I highly recommend her for sure. She actually makes going to the dentist fun. She really does. She’s just so pleasant, and she’s honest. She tells you exactly what you need, and it’s never any more.

Well the dentists are really nice. All the receptionists are really nice. They take care of me. They are very good at letting me know what’s going on and not holding back and telling me what I need to do and what I don’t need to do. They took out my wisdom teeth, which was a great experience. I was having some slight pain in my mouth, because I guess they were all the way in, but they were pushing my teeth forward, and that’s what I noticed, like this tooth was coming behind this tooth and I’ve already had braces before, so I was like, “That can’t happen.“

So I came in, and they took a look and they were like, “Yeah, you definitely need to get them out,“ and so … I mean, they were getting to the point where like, they might get infected and stuff, so it was getting pretty bad back there. I came in the couple of weeks and they took them all four out at once. She was great through the whole thing, Dr. Hanna. She talked me through it, because I was awake for the whole thing. I didn’t feel anything. She made sure it was pain-free, and it was a really good experience, because I was very, very nervous. I’ve never had anything like that done to my mouth. It was good. And it was the week of Thanksgiving too, and I did it on a Monday and then I was able to eat by Thursday for Thanksgiving.

Everything’s better it no longer hurts when I chew, and no more shifting of the teeth, they’ve stopped moving, which is the most important part. So they’ve been pretty good, yeah. I would say the staff is friendly, the doctors are friendly, and that they take care of you.

She’s an amazing woman and she’s really good. She actually cares about what she’s doing. She talks to you the whole process. She’ll explain what she’s doing. It’s comforting in a way. That’s something I enjoy.

I had this tooth up here. It was up in my gum. I was to the point where I didn’t even smile. I wouldn’t smile. I’d smile like this. It was embarrassing. I heard about them and decided to try it. It turned out for the better. Now, I’m a changed man.

Once I got the six month smile, every picture now, I’m smiling. I always have a big smile on my face. I don’t know. It made me happy 24/7. I just like to smile. There’s no pain whatsoever, even when they had to change the wire, tighten the wire. It was easy, simple. Come in, change the wire. Then, whatever you want, just change it.

I love Dr. Juarez. She’s an amazingly intelligent, smart, and she just loves the new procedures. She’s very protective of her patients and just makes sure that we have the best service done. I’ve had a lot of dental work that she’s had to replace, so when I come here, I know that I’m getting the best service and it won’t have to be repeated. I had a lot of dental work. I replaced a lot of cavities. I had some root canals, some crowns, and then did the new Pinhole Procedure for the gum in replace of the true gum graft. It’s a newer procedure that Dr. Juarez is doing now in replace of having to go and have a gum graft done. It’s less invasive. The healing process was so much easier. They actually do pinholes, and add collagen, and drop the gumline versus having to take gum from the roof of your mouth, and having to stitch it in place, which can take a lot longer to heal. I had a lot to do so I was grateful for the new procedure.

They’ve always taken really good care of me, and I saw a big improvement in my dental health. I like them very much. They’re very professional about what they do. I got to know Dr. Juarez better when she did a keyhole surgery on me. I would advise anybody that has this sort of gum recession that I had to do that. They’ve been telling me for awhile, or at least my hygienist was, that I needed to have this done. It sounded more cosmetic to me which I wasn’t that interested in, but I listened to them, and they kept advising to, and I’m really glad I did. The looks have improved. I think my teeth are more stable. She’s done everything to make getting my dental care easy and painless.

As soon as you arrive, she greets you. She knows your name and she immediately just sets you at ease about what’s going on for the day, just is real personable the way that she approaches things. She’s highly professional but the way she explains it just helps you understand it and really doesn’t scare you as much as you would think that it would.

I too notice that I was starting to snore a lot to the point where I was waking myself up several times a night. Dr. Juarez asked me about. It was one of those things I thought it was just part of getting older that, “I don’t have apnea.” She’s like, “Well, just let me take a look at it,” and sent home this real simple little device with me. I was able to do the study at home, which was great. When I brought it back, she’s like, “Yes, you do have apnea, and there’s a couple of things we can do to help you out.”

The first thing she did was she set me up with a sleep guard, which was dual-purpose. It kept me from grinding my teeth at night but also it just offsets my jaw. It’s not very invasive or anything, just a little mouthpiece that you put in and it’s quite comfortable. It just pulls my jaw forward a little bit and helps me sleep better. Still had a little bit of snoring after, even with the device, so they recommended I get the night laser treatment, which basically they go in and it tightens your soft palate in the back of your throat, three treatments.

Basically, everything that the night guard didn’t do for me, the laser treatment did, and my wife, I don’t wake her up at all. In fact, I’m recommending it to her because she’s starting to wake me up. It’s definitely a real good treatment, and it’s made a huge difference for me, especially as I’m getting older and sleep is so much more important. I’m finding that it’s really, really helpful.

I love Dr. Juarez. She’s been wonderful. They’re just very good at what they do. I think I was blessed with a bad set of teeth to begin with, so I was very short on teeth. I didn’t have 12-year molars nor wisdom teeth, so trying to save what I had was almost impossible because there was just so much wear.

I’ve had all of my molars extracted, and then through an oral surgeon they did the implants, but then she did all of the crowns and all my entire top jaw. She was very, very, patient with me working on the shape and color, and there was never a problem, never a problem. The work that Dr. Juarez has done has been absolutely pain-free and just very, very, … They’re very, very, concerned about your comfort and happiness while getting the dental work done.

Oh, I am just elated. Elated I can actually smile and be happy. But what I really liked about Dr. Juarez is she wanted to work with what I had, and being that I had a lot of years left on me, I didn’t want to extract all of my teeth, because it’ll alter the way that your face looks, and that’s the last thing that I wanted to do. I mean from the function to the cosmetic effects of it, everything was a very top priority. Form and function are just perfect.

Very warm feeling here coming to visit with Dr. Juarez. It almost feels like family since I started coming a little more regular when I decided to have the Six Month Smile that the braces put on. Coming here to the staff, it’s a highlight of my days when I come here, because the stress of the day wherever you’re working you come here you’re always treated like family. The Six Month Smile was a choice over the Invisalign, and my decision towards the Six Month Smile came about from some investigation that I’d done, some research.

They gave me paperwork and things to look and read, and the more I looked and read, the more complicated it seemed to be but she uncomplicated it and it became a very easy decision for me to go with the Six Month Smile over Invisalign. Yeah, I’m absolutely amazed with the progress in a short period of time and I’m into my fifth month now, and by the end of it I think It’ll be over, so it’s even quicker than I thought it would be. They meet you and they discuss what you’re going to do and talk you every step of the way through the process, and you leave with a smile on your face. You always leave better than what you came.

All of her staff is. In fact, as soon as you walk through the door, you just feel like they care about you. Everybody here has been just really friendly and just really made me feel like they put my interest and my healthcare at the top. Dental care has always been very important to me, but also, I don’t like coming to the dentist, so there’s an element of fear there because I don’t like pain and that kind of thing. I kind of judge dentists more on, “Did I feel any pain?” That’s really a big thing to me. I have to admit that I really don’t.

I use Dr. Juarez and I have little quirks, like my lips get real dry when they’re working on me, or my mouth gets real dry, and she’ll always stop and let me rinse or take a drink or wet my lips. Anytime I even act like I’m flinching or something, she’ll stop and ask me if I’m okay, if it hurt, if she needs to proceed. I don’t find it painful at all. I can say I’ve been to dentists before where I have felt pain and I really don’t [inaudible 00:01:09]. I feel really confident with her.

She also has video glasses which is really good because I think a lot of the is whenever you’re having dental work done and a lot of it’s in your mind, you’re just waiting for something to pinch or hurt and with those video glasses, which I’ve never had at any other dentist’s office before, it’s kind of like the time just breezes by. In fact, before I know it, it’s over and it’s like, “Oh, you can keep doing something because I’m not finished with my movie,” or whatever, you know.

I don’t dread coming, which is kind of new for me because all my life it’s been, “I don’t want to come.” I know I need to, but it’s hard to make the appointment because I know that it’ll be something that I’m going to dread coming to.

From the moment you walk in, it’s very inviting. It’s very warm, and I know they have a lot of amenities they provide that make you feel as comfortable as you can while you’re here. The hygienist that they have will explain everything to you. If you have questions, if you want a distraction they offer movies and music. They offer blankets if you’re cold. They basically go out of their way to just make you as comfortable as possible. I am a product of Six Month Smiles, which is a cosmetic, orthodontic treatment, and I had a tooth that protruded from the upper part of my gums, because it didn’t have room to come down, so that was my primary concern. I wanted to get rid of that, and get my teeth straightened up, so Six Month Smiles did that for me. I was very, very happy with the results.

She’s very educated. She’s very professional. She’s very sweet, very charming and good at what she does. That’s what I like about her. They tried to save the teeth, but they couldn’t because they were so calcified inside that they couldn’t open or clean the ducts inside, so they have to take them out. You just came, you wait. You stay there in the chair. She smile at you. You open your mouth, and then the work is done. It’s finished. There is nothing to complain about, no pain, no nothing. I have more anxiety when they check, they do the annual checkup, and they’re checking for cancer, for example, in the mouth. Then I have anxiety, but the rest, not really.

It’s their attitude. They are very confident. They know what they are doing. I am confident in their confidence, and I know that I am in good hands. I trust them. That’s what is most important with a doctor, to trust them. It is peaceful, agreeable, well set up. You have water, you have coffee. You have tea. You have darling ladies over there who treat you like a queen. The people who work here, all the technician who do the cleaning and everything, they’re wonderful.
